In compiling this website, we have drawn information from a wide range of sources. Additionally, there are a number of excellent resources on the internet for learning about Swiss military history. We have listed some of them below.

• The Swiss section on Old Military Markings - an ancient, but well-equipped website with some good rudimentary information on manufacture dates.

• SwissRifles - an old, and sadly seldom-updated US-run website providing information on the full series of Swiss bolt action rifles from Vetterli through to Zf. Kar 55.

• Swisswaffen - a Swiss-based website providing detailed information (although largely only in German) on various Swiss military firearms.
